So you've got an SF 9415 and you are ready for More Power than the pre-loaded tunes on the SF, Well here is how you can convert that SF 9415 pre-loaded tuner into an X2 9400 so you can get some MPT custom tunes. Warning, this is not reversable; meaning you won't be able to go back to your pre-loaded tunes.
INSTALL THE SOFTWARE
- With the Tuner unplugged, install Live Load 3.
This can be done, by clicking here: Live Load 3 or by going to our Downloads Page. - Run it and install it, this will install the drivers, click next, next, next until you get to Finish.
- Now that the Liveload 3 software is Installed, open it up. To find it, Press Start / Then All Programs / Then look for the SCT Category / You should see Liveload in the list.
- Once Opened, Click on the "ERASE DEVICE" button.
- It will ask you are you sure.
- Once you have pressed Erase Device, click Erase Files.
- Your Tuner is now an X2 9400.
- It's time to order your MPT Custom Tunes.
