Liveload is the software used to do the following:
- To load Custom Email Tunes,
- To Change the Status of a Tuner from Stock to Unused. (aka Unlock)
- To Convert a 9415 from to a 9400
- To Erase Existing Tunes
- To Format the X2
Directions: With the X2/SF Unplugged and your Vehicle Returned to Stock. Download and Install this program. The Drivers will install automatically. Once Installed, click on Start, All Programs, SCT, Live Load. This will open the software, you can now plug in the tuner.
To Convert the SF 9415 to a 9400, click on the Erase Device button, then click on Erase Files. (Not Reversable) You can use browse button to locate and load custom tunes.
VERY IMPORTANT! Do not unplug or move the X2/SF while the files are being transferred.

LiveUpdate is the software used to do the following:
- Update the Firmware on an X2 or SF.
Directions: With the X2/SF Unplugged and your Vehicle Returned to Stock. Download and Install this program. The Drivers will install automatically. Once Installed, click on Start, All Programs, SCT, LiveUpdate. This will open the software, you can now plug in the tuner.
VERY IMPORTANT! THE ONLY REASON TO UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE IS IF YOU ARE RECEIVING AN ERROR OR ARE TOLD TO DO SO.Do not unplug or move the X2/SF while the files are being transferred.
