Injector Dynamics IDX-F750 Fuel Filter

Injector Dynamics Part #:
  • Fuel Filter - IDX-F750
  • Fuel Filter with Optional Pressure and Temperature Sensor Block ( ID-PTS ) - ID-F750PTS

Welcome to the Next Step in Filtration with the IDX-F750

Injector Dynamics ID F750 is the first performance filter engineered to meet strict OE filter requirements, focusing on Bosch’s specification for electronic fuel injectors. When it came to improving the service life of their injectors, Injector Dynamics invested a great deal of time, effort, and research into doing so. Along with enhanced filtering, the IDF750 offers many features engineered to improve both performance and function.

Filter Efficiency

Electronic fuel injectors are constructed to exact sizes and shapes, measured in microns. Even the tiniest of particles can cause extra wear, or even ruin a fuel injector.

Bosch provides a specification for protection of electronic fuel injectors that is a minimum capture efficiency of 87% at 5 microns, and 100% capture efficiency at 35 microns. What does this mean for you? At the very least, the ID-F750 will collect 87% of all particles 5 microns and greater, while capturing 100% of all particles 35 micron and bigger.

Plain and simple, the filter element in the ID F750 meets that specification, all while making sure there is no undue flow restriction.

Flow Restriction vs Contaminant Load

The IDF750 is engineered to contain a massive level of contaminant, as it maintains low restriction to flow.

This achievement is reached due to a highly efficient filter element, created with low pressure drop in mind.

At a flow rate of 750 liters per hour, the ID-F750 will contain five grams of contaminant, before needing to be replaced. That's about the same as one teaspoon.

Higher flow rates are possible, but more frequent filter changes will be needed. This will vary based on the cleanliness of your fuel system.

Delta P Indicator

Delta pressure, or Delta P for short, is the difference in pressure between two points. In regards to the ID F750, the inlet and outlet of the filter are those two points.

The Delta P indicator provides a indication of the serviceable filter element's condition that you can see, giving you the option to replace it before it turns into an issue.

Spin on Housing with Safety Latch

A feature of the IDF750 is a spin on filter housing that comes with a safety latch stopping the housing from spinning off, should it become loose.

It can be easily released with just one finger, and you can hear it click into place during assembly.

Pressure Relief and Drain

The ID-F750 features a standard Schrader valve and an o-ring sealed spin on barb that actuates the needle.

This valve has various functions including: monitoring pressure, draining the system, or relieving pressure for filter changes.

Modular Mounting Bracket

The modular design of the ID F750 gives you a broad range of mounting choices. Be it the standard 90°, straight, and reverse 90°, to roll bar tube mount brackets, and to every other option possible.

Custom brackets can also be provided for application specific fitment.

Optional Pressure and Temperature Sensor Block (ID-PTS) / IDF750PTS Package

Injector Dynamics plug and play pressure and temperature sensor, or ID PTS, features a Bosch Motorsport 10 bar (145 psi) pressure sensor, with integral -40 to 140°C (-40 to 284°F) temperature sensor.

Installation is completed with just with two screws. The ID PTS will add 30mm to the product's overall width. Because of its small size, the IDPTS can be installed to most systems without re-plumbing being required. The option to add the ID-PTS to your ID-F750 (creating the ID F750PTS) is offered above.

ID-F750 Speficications:
  • Nominal Flow Rate – 750 l/h @ 7.5 kPa (1.1 psi) pressure drop. 1000 l/h @ 13 kPa (1.9 psi) pressure drop
  • Maximum Fuel Pressure – 10.0 Bar (145.0 psi)
  • Fuel Compatibility – Compatible With All Known Fuels
  • Fluid Connection – SAE -8 O-Ring Barb
  • Weight – 700g
