If you want to hear the turbos on your Raptor Ecoboost or F150 Ecoboost then you want a Turbosmart BOV. When your foot backs out and the throttle closes that excess boost is usually recirculated back into the intake, but with the turbosmart BOV that boost is vented to atmosphere causing the wonderful SPPPPPSSSHHHH turbo noise bringing a smile to your face and turning heads all around you.

Turbosmart won the coveted SEMA Award for Performance-Street New Product, 2018 with the Kompact EM (Electro-Mechanical) valve, combining full electronic control and integration with the proven reliability and performance of a mechanical Blow Off Valve. Simply remove your factory valve from the bayonet style fitting and screw in the Turbosmart Vee Port EM. Then, plug into the factory connecter and you’re on your way! Turbosmart has taken the EM technology and adapted it to the much loved Vee Port body that comes with a 38mm hard anodized piston to produce a direct bolt-on EM Blow Off Valve for the Ford Ecoboost F150 and Raptor. The EM Range features patent pending technology that allows full electronic integration with the original system, replacing a design known for its weakness over the life of a vehicle and limitations in high performance environments. The Turbosmart EM solution provides a positive mechanical seal against boost and the performance benefits of their proven boost-balance piston technology. Traditionally, a mechanical valve would require an external boost reference which means more hardware and more changes to your vehicle. The EM valve eliminates this need by using an internal reference from the underside of the valve and a patented and gated control system that is electrically actuated by a high speed solenoid. So unlike ‘other’ valves, the EM bolts directly in place of the factory unit and plugs into the factory connector, without any fuss.

Do I need to disassemble the factory valve?
No, you just need to unbolt it and fit the Turbosmart Kompact EM Valve in its place. 2 or 3 bolts, plug in the connector and your done - No fiddly bits.

Will I need a Boost Reference Adaptor and fit an extra hose?
You won’t need a separate boost reference for the Vee Port EM Valve at all. Just screw it on and plug it in! Turbosmart does however have a range of boost reference adaptors, should you want to run a boost gauge though.

What springs do I need for the EM Valve?
None. The EM Kompact range is designed to work with a very light spring for super fast response. No amount of boost or engine vacuum should upset the boost-balance system fitted from the factory.

How long does it take to fit?
You’ll be back on the road in 15 minutes. You screw the Turbosmart Vee Port EM BOV in exactly where you removed the the factory valve from. Once you plug the EM loom into the factory connector, you’re all done.

Fits: 2011-2020 Ford F150 3.5L Ecoboost V6, 2015-2020 Ford F150 2.7L Ecoboost V6, 2017-2020 Ford Raptor 3.5L Ecoboost V6. This BOV is ***NOT COMPATIBLE*** with Full Race intercoolers, at this time.

Mishimoto
This will fit the MISHIMOTO PERFORMANCE INTERCOOLER FOR 2011-2014 FORD F150 3.5L ECOBOOST - MMINT-F150-11. You will need to disconnect the intake tube from both the throttle body and the cac, swap the bov (the brackets it comes with don't fit the Mishimoto), replace the tube onto the cac (requires some finagling), then tube onto throttle body. Is oddly quieter than a stock bov with re-circulation tube removed.

Very happy with the install still ended up dropping the intercooler to make life easier not sure if it really possible any other way but it went on nice and easy I’d say it was a 30-45 min install definitely the way to go if you are looking to do a bov on your ecoboost F150
