Based on the scientific fact that cold air is denser than hot air, the AIRAID® launches a range of Cold Air Dam Intakes as they believe that a cold air breathing engine is more powerful than an engine breathing hot air. The CAD Intakes don not change the stock filter location and adds a air inlet with the aim to produce a steady, free-flowing supply of cold air that provides wide improvement to this system. Done via Cold Air Dam panels, mount in the same factory air box location, this system use the spare present factory cold air inlet ducts and includes additional cold air passages to the filter. This panel helps to prevent the filter from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood via blade-style weather stripping. The AIRAID® Cold Air Dam Intake is made especially for vehicle application and delivers a simple, trouble-free installation with simple hand tools. Made in USA, it involves all the tools and easy-to-understand instructions written with the do-it-yourself guide for easy installation. This system is made specifically to support FORD EXPEDITION 2007-2014 V8 5.4L, FORD F-150 2009-2010 V8 5.4L and LINCOLN NAVIGATOR 2007-2013 V8 5.4L.
