The AIRAID Cold Air Dam Intake System is apt for FORD F-150 2011-2014 V6 3.5L, V6 3.7L, V8 5.0L, FORD F-150 Pickup Raptor 2010-2014 V8 6.2L, FORD F-250 Super Duty 2011-2015 V8 6.2L and FORD F-350 Super Duty 2011-2015 V8 6.2L and brilliantly captures the scientific principle of cold air being denser than hot air that concludes that an engine working through cold air will be more efficient than a similar unit using hot air. CAD Intakes can easily suit each application and follow simple instructions for operation and installation. It features black media and includes all the necessary hardware to offer a hassle-free installation with simple hand tools. It retains the stock filter location and enhances the stock intake system. An addition of a huge air inlet delivers smooth supply of cold air. Cold Air Dam panels that are mounted at the factory air box location to utilize any cold air inlet ducts present in the factory during additional cold air transition to the filter. These panels are kept isolated from the hot engine compartment air and are sealed at the base of the hood through blade-style weather stripping.
