Two Garrett High Density GT cores

The most thermally efficient corse available anywhere! Stock mounting points require no modification of chassis for installation and no relocation of and other devices. Multifunctional auxiliary port can be used for moisture/condensation purge, intake air temp sensor gauge, or boost pressure port. OE style connection snaps into place and is compatible with all aftermarket piping for stock intercooler. Multi-purpose BOV port accommodates the 2013-2014 model e-BOV or any mechanical BOV such as TurboSmart, Tial, or HKS. Key Points from ATP Turbo:

Even when comparing cold run against cold run, the gains found over the stock intercooler are substantial. This is due partially to the improved flow of the core design. The stock intercooler is proven to be a choking point that causes a very high pressure drop across the core. ATP measured a 1.5 to 2psi gain in pressure recovery with the upgraded intercooler which means more available HO and TQ across the entire powerband.

  • Stock Intercooler takes only 4.5 minutes to MAX OUT the air intake temp on the gauge. 157 Deg F.
  • After 4.5 minutes on the upgraded intercooler, maximum air intake temp observed is only 118 Deg F.
  • After 5.5 minutes of continuous pulls, the upgraded intercooler only reaches maximum temperature of 132 Deg F. It takes 12 consecutive dyno pulls in third gear to do this.
  • It takes the stock intercooler only 3 pulls (only 55 seconds) to reach the same 132 Deg. F
  • Conclusion: It does not take very long to heat soak the stock intercooler. In this case, it only takes 3 pulls in 3rd gear (about the same as 1/4 mile through 4 gears).
