Log/Gauge Config for MPT-Tuned Fords

Prior to Step 1- You will need either the included SD card adapter and an SD port on your computer, or a mini-USB cable to transfer this file onto your nGauge. To use our configuration files, you must have Firmware 290 or higher installed.
***Click here for Instructions on how to update your firmware.***

  • Step 1 – Download the Datalog Config that Applies to your vehicle from the list at the top of this page.

  • Step 2 – Open the file, move it to one side of your screen, leave it open during the next step.

  • Step 3 – Plug in your nGauge through the USB cable, or insert the nGauge's microSD card into the SD card adapter, then put that in your computer's SD card reader. In USB mode, just plug the nGauge into your computer, tap "Diagnostics", then tap "USB SD."

  • Step 4 – Your computer should ask what you want to do with this drive. Click "Open folder to view files"

  • Step 5 – A window will open up, this is the nGauge's root folder. Move this window to the other side of the screen so you can see both the log config file window, and the nGauge's root folder window.

  • Step 6 – Click and hold down on the config file in one window, then drag it to the ngauge's root folder. Once the transfer is complete, close the window for the nGauge's root folder. If you are using USB, just tap the "X" on the screen of the nGauge.

  • Step 7 – Your nGauge now has a full datalogging configuration, ready-to-use. Gauge screens and favorites are all set to the most important parameters.

  • Step 8 – If you ever need to datalog your vehicle, just tap the gauge screen, select "Record Log", and you are datalogging! Full datalogging and Gauge configuration instructions can be found here:
