HP Tuners Universal Credits for MPVI2 and RTD
HP Tuners uses a credit-based licensing system. Credits are required in order for an HP Tuners RTD, RTD+ or MPVI2 to flash a tune onto the vehicle. The number of credits necessary to purchase a license varies depending on the vehicle.
Credits can be used with tunes from any HP Tuners dealer or even the brave doing their own tuning.
MPT tuning the vehicle is NOT a requirement in order to purchase credits for HP Tuners devices.
Credit purchases do not include tune files from MPT.
Purchasing credits for a vehicle does not mean MPT will tune it.
• 17-20 F150 and Raptor = 4 Credits
• 11-16 3.5 F150 = 2 Credits
• 18-20 2.7 F150 = 4 Credits
• 15-17 2.7 F150 = 2 Credits
• 18-20 5.0 F150 = 4 Credits
• 11-17 5.0 F150 = 2 Credits
• 11-17 3.7 Mustang = 2 Credits
HPT vehicle licenses are tied to the RTD/MVPI2 Serial Number, VIN, PCM OS, and PCM Serial Number. If those values don’t change, the vehicle will remain licensed on that
interface and can be tuned indefinitely. If the dealership updates the PCM or TCM, a new stock read and new credits will be required.
NOTE: All digital product sales including credits are final, under no circumstances can a refund be given for any digital products.
Please ensure you check how many credits you have and require before you complete your purchase.
Make sure to enter the correct serial number. The credits will be assigned to the serial number entered. Avoid gifting free credits to another MPVI2 device by triple checking for accuracy.
