This tune update charge can be used for several different situations.

How It Works:
Step 1: Process the payment to Update your tunes.

Step 2: After purchase, you will need to submit an MPT Tune form. This will put yourself in line for tune updates. When filling out the form, you will be asked "Is this an update/log review to an existing MPT Tune?". You will select "Yes, update/log review" and click next. Answer the questions on the following page to complete the tune form.

Step 3: Your tunes will be built/updated/revised to the information submitted and emailed to you with instructions on how to load them.

It's that easy. Any questions, just ask. Tunes are completed in order received, average turn-around time is 2-3 business days. We have a RUSH option to skip the line and get your tunes completed in 24 hours or less. You may purchase a RUSH MY TUNES HERE.

Preference based Tune Update Window:
The tuning process starts when MPT has sent the first file. We put an extreme amount of time and effort into creating each and every MPT tune. MPT tunes include 90 days of preference based updates. After 90 days preference based tune updates may require a tune update fee.

During these 90 days, MPT will update your tune file for preference based changes. Preference based changes include feel and everyday performance of the tune. Octane changes and over-all tune changes do not fall under preference based changes. Most upgrades or modifications purchased through MPT would apply to the Free Tunes for Life and not preference based updates. All products or upgrades not purchased through MPT will require an update fee.

After purchase, you will need to submit an MPT Tune form. This will put yourself in line for tune updates. When filling out the form, you will be asked "Is this an update/log review to an existing MPT Tune?". You will select "Yes, update/log review" and click next. Answer the questions on the following page to complete the tune form.

Tune Updates are like for like on the existing tunes, meaning the update doesn't include changing elements of the tune such as octane, type of tune, removal/addition of transmission tuning, etc.

Please note: It is More Power Tuning's (MPT) policy not to manufacture, offer for sale, sell, convey, or otherwise transfer any product, including Handheld Devices, Pre-Loaded Tunes, or Calibrations that contain features to bypass, defeat or render inoperative the following: EGR, Rear Oxygen Sensors, SCR, DPF, NAC, DOC, or any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) associated with these emission controls. Products/Calibrations shall retain the full operation and functionality of the On Board Diagnostic System (OBD), will continue to satisfy emissions requirements, such as meeting standards within useful life or maintaining emissions performance outside useful life. MPT does not support modifications that remove or alter the emissions system of the vehicle. MPT will not shut off check engine lights caused by non-emissions compliant parts installed.

MPT Lvl 2 Tune Update

Yet again MPT did a Great job with my tune! I had the MPT PRX 91 tune but had a few bolt ons installed Longtube headers, ported intake manifold, and high flow cats. So I purchased the Lvl 2 Tune update and let me tell you it definitely made a difference, it moves a lot quicker and goes smooth through the gears. I recommend getting the Tune update if you install and mods that require it! You will not regret your decision.

MPT 93-PRX

Requested a tune update after installing my upper and lower ported intakes for the 3.7. Gotta say, top end power is awesome!!

Fantastic

I've been running an MPT 93 tune for a while now and it's been awesome. I recently put a BOSS 302 intake on my F150 and needed to get it re-tuned. MPT sent me an updated tune, I flashed it, and the truck runs great. She pulls much harder above 5K now. Extremely satisfied with MPT and their tunes. Don't look anywhere else!

Tune Update after Bolt-Ons

WOW, I am impressed with this tune update. Locking out the IMRC valve on the tune really did make a difference, I was able to beat my 1/8 mile time and speed without even launching my F150, and I also have a minor exhaust leak to top it off. She's running healthy and the stuttering at low speed went away. I am satisfied with this Tune. Thanks!

Q: I have an new BBK 75 mm throttle body , a new BBK air intake ,,off road x pipe and I want to change my car to run e30 would this update lvl would it help and do I need to change anything to do e30

A: Those modifications do not require any special tuning, so the tunes will be fine just the way they are. Simply install and enjoy! If you would like to submit some datalogs for review, you are welcome to.

As for E30, no fuel system changes are required to run that fuel. To get a tune for E30, you would simply purchase a new tune from our site. The Tune Update does not cover this.

Q: I'm looking at the Level 2 update. It states that you can get an octane change for $50.00. I currently have the 87 performance tune. Can I use this to obtain a 93octane performance tune for $50.00?

A: Normally, you would want to purchase a new tune from our site for a new octane. That will keep both your old 87 and your new 93 on file with us and both can be updated in the future. If you purchase the LVL2 Tune Update to switch octanes, that would delete the 87 from our system and replace it with a 93 version. Therefore, in the future, any updates would apply to just the 93 tune.

Q: I have just purchased bbk long tune headers, catted x pipe and roush axle back exhause, jlt intake, jlt catch can. What tune update do i need. Currently have 91 prx in my 3.7 mustang when it was stock. And within my 60 day window. What do I do to accommodate these mods with my tune. Also eliminating rear o2 to stop engine light

A: The LVL2 Tune Update is the correct product to purchase for your modifications. Only the BBK long tube headers require any special tuning.

Keep in mind that we DO NOT disable the rear O2 sensors or turn off the CEL related to your catless setup with on our tunes. We cannot legally disable any control system or check engine light related to the emissions system of the vehicle.

Q: 93 PR-X 93 PR-X No-Trans-Tuning 93 Perf-Tow No-Trans-Tuning bought in Feb of 2020. Are there updates available that drastically change what I already have?

A: Our LVL1 tune update will cover updating all your existing MPT tunes to the latest version if the vehicle is unchanged. We're constantly refining our tunes. Since your tunes are fairly recent, it might be a relatively subtle improvement to shifting and part-throttle drivability. Submit a tune form after purchase to notify our tuning team.
